About Tony

Tony Walsh is the head mortgage broker at Loan Location, known for a practical, human approach to lending. He has built his business around clear advice, strong communication and exceptional client experiences. Behind the scenes, Tony also works with the less glamorous side of the industry: old technology, disconnected systems and far too much copy-and-paste. That frustration is part of what pushed him to build better tools and smarter workflows.

How I work

Simple, direct and on your side.

My job is to make lending easier to understand. That means explaining the options, cutting through the noise and helping you make decisions that fit your real situation.

Why it matters

Loans are stressful enough.

Whether it is your first home, a refinance, an investment property or something more complex, you deserve clear communication and a process that does not leave you guessing.

Mortgage help that makes sense

The goal is not to drown you in options. It is to help you understand what matters, what is possible and what the next step should be.

First home buyers

From confused to confident.

Understand borrowing power, deposits, lender requirements, repayments and the steps from pre-approval to settlement.

Refinancing

Review what you have.

Check whether your current loan still fits, compare options and decide whether changing lenders or structure makes sense.

Complex lending

When the answer is unclear.

Self-employed income, multiple debts, credit clean-up, bridging, investment lending and unusual situations need careful handling.

Good lending advice deserves better systems.

Alongside mortgage broking, I build practical tools and workflows to reduce admin, improve visibility and make the lending process easier to manage.

BrokerBrain came from the same frustration many brokers and clients feel — too many forms, too much repeated information and too many systems that do not speak to each other.

The goal is simple: less friction, clearer information and more time spent on the decisions that actually matter.

Ready to talk lending?

Start with a simple conversation. No pressure, no bank-speak — just a clear look at where you are, what you need and what might be possible.
